Saehan MPMan F-10 World’s 1st Pocket MP3 Player

Description

Although I have seen images before of the Saehan MPman F10, this is the first time I was lucky enough to buy one. Back in spring 1998 this was genuinely the first pocket mp3 player, released in very limited numbers to a few countries in Asia only, and before they rebranded it as the F-20 and calling it ‘the 1st’. As you can see from the front it looks to have actually been first called the OTO-DS10 and required the docking station to charge and upload to it. These came in several colours of which I think the silver was perhaps the most classy.

This example is offered in good cosmetic and working condition. The batteries it came with no longer hold charge (but new ones can be easily purchased online), however when I connected it to a 9v charger everything played and worked fine.   It comes with the player and docking station only. There was some light corrosion to the inside battery plate which has been cleaned off now.
