This fun original vintage poster was created to publicise the Sonorette Radio by the French company of Sonora. Translated as ‘Radiant Life With Sonora Radio’ and a glowing young lady staring adoringly up from the corner, the Sonorette Radio was released in 1933 and this poster would be from the same date. I particularly love the use of the brown and green on this poster to highlight what was a very stylish and popular radio from their range, and the photo of the girl is very well printed.
It is offered in very good original condition and the colours are still nice and fresh. There is a bit of bumping and creasing and as a few tiny tears on the edges. There are also a few very faint foxing marks to the upper corner that are hardly noticeable but the paper overall has not darkened or faded. Once framed any blemishes would disappear.
