I thought there was something quite charming about this antique poster when I saw it. Dating to c1900 it advertises the English loom making company of Robert Hall & Sons Ltd. At the time this company were one of the foremost makers of Weaving machines in the country employing over 500 people. The fascinating range of machines on offer here remind us how important the weaving industry was and is a visual reminder of that industrial heritage.
Please see images but the poster is offered in very original as found condition with some wear to be expected for its age. The fact it has been backed on thick cotton since new has protected it from heavy tears etc, but there is some creasing to the waxed paper front.
