This great larger sized shop display item is for Selo (Selochrome) Films and can be pretty precisely dated to Spring 1937. Printed onto thick card and designed to create a 3d effect it depicts a stylish young girl photographing the Coronation of George VI as the procession passes by. There are a few small holes in the middle which possibly held a small shelf to stack a couple of the real Selo films onto.
Selochrome was founded in 1920 in Essex and was making roll film by 1931. It introduced 35mm film cartridges in 1935 so this advert would have related to that.
Offered in nice original as found condition it has a great period look and I’ve added a wine bottle to one image to give you a sense of scale. This would be great for any camera fan.
