Anyone who likes their gramophones will know the Columbia 9000a is a desirable little machine, but to find it in green makes it even more special. Made by EMI just before WW2 it is also known as the HMV102 (as they made both) and is considered one of the best portable gramophones ever released. Never a big seller anyway, coloured versions (red, green and blue) were always sold in far smaller quantities than just plain black.
This example is offered in good working condition. It looks to have been tidied by a previous owner at some point and would always benefit from a service and smartening up again, but is in original complete condition.
