This fascinating short cine reel was produced by the International Data Processing Company at the Denham Computer Centre on the 7th October 1967. Shot in 16mm colour 24 fps format, it is a silent film and lasts for just over 7 minutes. As an educational film it goes through the full workings of their Honeywell 200 computer (and 120) with a single programmer loading and unloading the tapes and cards as well as running 3 short programs and printing. A note on the case says it is the second copy so I presume they made a couple of copies at the time. I have had this professionally converted to digital format to preserve it and a DVD of the content will be included with the sale.
It is a great short film from the time of mainframe computers and would be perfect for educational use or just to add to your collection. No copyright ownership of the content is either offered or inferred.
