This great little advert draft dates to c1946 and was created to advertise the Sadir Rhythme A532 radio. Sadir ( Société Anonyme des Industries Radioélectriques) was a smaller French manufacturer of radio equipment that existed between 1933 to the late 1950s.
This small advert has been painted as gouache on paper, has a protective piece of tracing paper on the front and is mounted onto a brown paper folio page where it was probably stored by the artist. Sadly this is unsigned and I don’t know if it was finally printed in a magazine etc or not, but is has clearly been created by a very competent professional artist and the sleek Art Deco lines are fantastic.
There is a light horizontal fold line through the middle of the piece but it would not show when framed.
